Just In Time

Just In Time boasts a 1,600 square foot house unlike any other accommodation in the Port Austin area. Adorned with charming steel siding, it’s hard to miss this unique fixture in Port Austin. From the moment you open the door and step inside you will find a completely renovated home teeming with character, antiques and art.

The first floor includes an entrance porch, living room, library with TV, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, screened-in porch, bedroom, bathroom with a footed tub and a large shaded deck. The second floor includes a bedroom with a queen bed and a cushioned corner window seat in addition to a bathroom with a large shower.

The living room, kitchen and upstairs bedroom has vaulted, beamed ceilings. Each have a queen size bed and large closet. The house has central heat and air conditioning, plus overhead cooling fans for the screened-in porch and upstairs bedroom. There are also TVs in the kitchen and downstairs bedroom, a charcoal grill outdoors and a washer and dryer (located in the dining room under the stairway).

Given the layout of the home and the art throughout, Just In Time is ideal for four adults or two adults with two older children.

Port Austin is a small lakeside town located at the the tip of the Thumb of Michigan. Less than three hours north of Detroit, it is a perfect getaway from the big city. Experience spectacular sunsets and lake views like never before, shop quaint stores and one of the largest farmers markets in the state, and get your fill of delicious handcrafted food and drinks at area restaurants.

Port Austin is quickly becoming a hub for some of the most unique art projects in the state, and the area continues to grow in it’s offerings for both art and entertainment. If you enjoy the great outdoors there is no shortage of things to do in and around the area. You will find a number of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding and beyond. And let’s not forget about the beaches. There are plenty of opportunities to sprawl out on a blanket and watch the waves roll in.
